Dr. Ermenegilda Parrilli, our coordinator and partner from Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II (UniNa) represented the project at the 2nd SBEP Symposium, bringing our work to a dynamic European forum.

The event was held in Bucharest on 11 February and gathered over 100 participants from research, policy, industry, and the wider Black Sea community, strengthening the Partnership’s sea-basin approach.

With Citizens in Power contribution on the poster design, BilgeUp was featured in the poster exhibition during the dedicated session for 2024 call projects.
We are extremely proud to announce that the project earned the award for one of the most interesting ideas!

The Symposium was an opportunity to create valuable space for dialogue with external evaluators, policymakers, and potential collaborators, reinforcing the project’s visibility and network.

BilgeUp, along with all projects funded under the second call, has received endorsement from the UN Ocean Decade of UNESCO—an important recognition of its relevance and impact.
